Trials
The cost to participate in one of our trials is £25.00. This cost contributes towards the facilities and staff. We also hold a reception meeting for the scouts and show them the players CV's before the day begins.
If you would like to attend a trial
The trial days can vary from each venue but in general the day will go as follows:
9.30am Players arrive and register then make their way to the changing rooms to prepare. Players are introduced to the staff who will monitor their age group and placed into small sided teams. Players are given a briefing from the staff on what to expect from the day and given tips on what the scouts will be looking for. Players can also get to know their team mates
10.00am Teams will enter the pitch areas to compete against each other. The professional scouts will be able to monitor each game and identify players that they feel they may like to invite to their club.
2.00pm Games finish and results are given out. Players are invited to join scouts and trials staff in the conference area to discuss the day. Scouts may use this time to speak to players about their future.
The aim of our trials is to give players the opportunity to showcase their talent so they can reach their dreams of playing football at the highest level possible.
We have professional coaches and scouts that have experience working within professional and semi professional football. This experience will be vital when you sign up for our trials as you will get regular information on how to get the maximum out of your performance when you are on trial.
Our trials are held around the country on safe secure high quality venues. We try to use 3rd generation astroturf pitches which we feel gives a fair opportunity to players and allows the scouts to see the talent on show much easier. Some of the centres we use have cost over £2Million to build and are state of the art facilities. However there may be times when we use grass venues to play on. You should check each event on this website.
In general players fall into the following categories:
Adults - Professional or semi professional clubs.
16-19 Years - Pro clubs, semi pro clubs, college academy. 11-16 Years - Professional club academy, semi pro club.
5-10 Years - Professional club academy, semi pro club.
Premiership. Scottish Premier League. Championship. English & Scottish League clubs. Conference League. All levels of semi professional clubs. Colleges
